Anybody who has started with iPhone Development should have heard this name at least once. If they don’t, sorry, but I don’t know where they live (probably either in the Jungle or totally in the Microsoft community and just boot a Mac mini now and then *only for Xcode*).
I had the pleasure to chat (twice, as you’ll hear at the beginning) with Jeff while I was at NSConference. It was a very fun chat where I learned, among other things, that I was chatting with a Lawyer – hmm, I’ve heard this combination already in the past – who became a professional programmer (and what a great one!) later in his career path.
Enjoy those nearly 12 minutes, who’ll probably not succeed being uploaded on *every* video platform, but well, the *original* HD (warning: over 800 MB) file is available at here at http://pomcast.com !

Needless to say Aaron is some kind of “Steve” for us Developers. For most of us (especially the “younger” ones), he was one of the first introduction to Cocoa & Objective C. Furthermore, I was amazed how nice & gentle he is. Somehow I range this interview with the one I did with Woz.

I realize this should be in Pomcast.biz’s blog, but, uh… How can I say it? We still haven’t one ;) It’ll come, but I just wanted to mention it at least *somewhere*, and I think Pomcast.com is also a good place. In my job as an iPhone developer I constantly have to come up with Designs. Given, I work with Designers (I actually even *hired* one as employee #1 recently) but some times, it’s better (and faster) to go with something already well done. This is how I stumbled upon “Eddit.com“, with this very cool (and gosh, very cheap!) Icon Set.

At this year’s Bash Party celebrating the near end of the WWDC we had the Band “Cake” and we had, as usual, a lot of fun. Enjoy a few minutes of this evening that is famous for showing some people (among other things some Apple Engineers) in a *special* state (read: drunk).

Gleb from Backblaze (see last video) told me to go see Patrick because he had a very relevant (at least to me) Company. I met with Patrick in San Francisco and we spoke about the “30 second YouTube” generation we’re all in ;)

A few weeks before I made this Interview I took a trial at Backblaze.com – then didn’t upgrade to their paid account. Believe it or not, a few days later, my hard drive had a hardware Failure :( Big times… So the interview with Gleb was even more interesting. From that point of view, I wish it hadn’t been that interesting ;) Anyways since that day I took their paid account and aside from my internet connection being sadly not has fast (for upload) as I wish, all is fine, I’m being backed up…
