At this year’s Bash Party celebrating the near end of the WWDC we had the Band “Cake” and we had, as usual, a lot of fun. Enjoy a few minutes of this evening that is famous for showing some people (among other things some Apple Engineers) in a *special* state (read: drunk).

Gleb from Backblaze (see last video) told me to go see Patrick because he had a very relevant (at least to me) Company. I met with Patrick in San Francisco and we spoke about the “30 second YouTube” generation we’re all in ;)

A few weeks before I made this Interview I took a trial at Backblaze.com – then didn’t upgrade to their paid account. Believe it or not, a few days later, my hard drive had a hardware Failure :( Big times… So the interview with Gleb was even more interesting. From that point of view, I wish it hadn’t been that interesting ;) Anyways since that day I took their paid account and aside from my internet connection being sadly not has fast (for upload) as I wish, all is fine, I’m being backed up…

The first time I heard about Cappuccino (the framework, not the beverrage) it was at the Cocoa Heads at the Apple Store San Francisco during the WWDC ’08 week. At least that’s what I recall. I saw a very relax Francisco Tolmasky saying that he left Apple because there was nothing better he could have done there then working on the iPhone ;) He was, at that time, mainly speaking about 280 Slides but spoke a bit about the technology they created. I got interested in Cappuccino and Objective J and one year later I organized this Interview because I had been playing with Cappuccino myself. It could have been cool to have only one guy from 280North, but I insisted on having them all 3 on camera, and kept on switching who answers… Oh, and yes, BTW, we *do* speak about Atlas.

My good friend Romain recommended me to have a chat with Paul & Nafis, co-founders of HaveASec.com to let them explain me what they are all about. Turns out they have a very innovative way of grabing the feedback of your clients or user. Wether you have an iPhone/Android App or just have a Shop (or a Café, in this case), HaveASec is most probably something for you!
