Releases

Every update to this site since the WordPress days ended, newest first.

Version 6 — 2026-10-14

• Old pomcast.com links now always land on the secure https:// page.

Version 5 — 2026-10-14

• Searching hides the farewell panel, so the results appear right under the search box.
• On phones, the search box scrolls to the top of the screen when you tap it, and no longer zooms the page in.
• Typing in the search box on some iPhone browsers (Ecosia) no longer jumps to the address bar.
• This page: a list of every update to the site.

Version 4 — 2026-10-14 · 651c8b8

• Goodbye episodes in French, Spanish and German, one podcast feed per language (feed-en, feed-fr, feed-es, feed-de).
• The recordings are cleaned of background noise.
• Every old feed address serves the feed of its language; Apple Podcasts now reads feed-en.xml directly.
• Audio files are served with the right type for podcast apps.

Version 3 — 2026-10-14 · 601ffe4

• Old pomcast.com addresses redirect: posts to their video on the archive, everything else to the archive page instead of a 404.
• The to-do list links to the videos themselves instead of the old WordPress posts.

Version 2 — 2026-10-14 · 5f28da3

• Seven lost videos found again on my YouTube channels.
• Videos from other people's channels are shown in grey, with the channel's name.
• The story and the to-do list use a narrower frame.

Version 1 — 2026-10-14 · 118e473

• First upload: the archive in English, French, Spanish and German, in the original Pomcast theme.
• Local stills instead of YouTube embeds, live search, the story of the migration, the to-do list of lost videos.
• The three WWDC ’14 interviews, found on YouTube.
